MAY 2024

FROM THE PRESIDENT

To all the loyal moose brothers and sisters,

As your new lodge president, I’m so excited. I love our lodge and all the members that I have met and looking forward to meeting many more.

This year we have a great group of officers and appointed officers. Our goal is to offer more fun fundraisers and work with the WOTM.  Remember we all must work together to continue to have a successful lodge.

“EMBRACE OUR COMMUNITY”

MOOSE 2024-2025

The slogan highlights the good that our Fraternity has provided to our local communities for the past 100+ years.  Let’s keep up the good work.

Now I’m asking everyone to spread the word about the good the Moose does for all the Children and Seniors need our help. Keep signing up new members, and come to the meetings on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m.

 Fraternally,

Linda Ethier

FROM THE SENIOR REGENT

Happy New Moose Year My Friends,

Time flies, doesn’t it?  It’s already time for a new year and some of our officers have changed.  I’m very excited to take on the role of Senior Regent and follow a great role model, Veronica Gilbert.   Thank you Veronica for all that you have accomplished over this past year.

We are starting the new year with a fundraiser by Silvana Hernandez.   On May 5th , Silvana will be hosting a “Cinco de Drinko” event with street tacos, dessert, raffle baskets and 50/50.   Don’t miss out on this fun time!  Also, remember we have the bake sale the first Friday of each month, this month it’s the 2nd Friday.  Those goodies are wonderful!  Also, don’t forget our monthly brunch and bingo.  This bingo is to support our new parking lot.  Come and have fun and raise funds to get that new parking lot.

This year will be full of fun sharing and caring, maybe even some educational times and just over all sharing with each other.  Please bring your ideas to me on events you would like to host for our fundraising activities for Mooseheart and Moosehaven.

Let’s make our time at the Moose memorable and something we can be proud of in our everyday lives.   Be sure to tell your friends and family to join us at the Moose to have fun and be proud of what we do every day to help others.

I would like to carry on Veronica’s monthly quote idea.  So here’s the first one:

Work and Play – “Work and play are words used to describe the same thing under different conditions.”  - Mark Twain

Make it a great month!

Membership campaigns are created and implemented by the Membership Department at Moose International. Annual Membership Campaigns typically run from May 1 to April 30 and have a unique theme each year.

This year’s Annual Membership Campaign is “EMBRACE OUR COMMUNITY” which runs from May 1, 2024 to April 30, 2025. Let’s build our future by reaching out to our members who have been out and getting new members to join! Together we can make our Lodge the friendliest place in town!
