FROM THE PRESIDENT
What a Month!
As May ends, we can all agree—it was a busy month full of fun and great memories!
We kicked things off with a surprise Friday night visit from Tommy Moose, setting the tone for a
fantastic month. Then came the Iron Moose—what an incredible event! We also celebrated our
Past Senior Regent’s birthday in style. Vern the legendary DJ had the crowd dancing and singing
all night—if you missed it, you truly missed out on a party to remember!
A big congratulations to our Iron Moose winners—Diana and Silvana, who tied for the win!
Looking ahead, the secret ingredient for June is strawberries, so get creative! And yes—Vern
will be back to keep the music going strong!
Mark, your calendar: June 28 is the date for the Tour de Moose Poker Run! You won’t want to
miss it.
Bingo has also been going fantastically well. Julie and I are currently shopping for new chairs
for the social quarters—and that’s all thanks to the amazing support we’ve been receiving every
Sunday from our bingo players. Your participation makes a difference!
Finally, I’ll be heading to Milwaukee for the International Convention. This year is especially
meaningful—we’ll be taking buses to Mooseheart, where we’ll witness the Senior Regents
receiving their cap and gown. We’ll also visit the children and watch the Mooseheart seniors
graduate from high school. One of the most moving moments will be watching the new Pilgrims
enter the House of God to receive their gold jackets—a powerful symbol of their dedication and
service.
Thank you all for making May one for the books. Here's to a sweet and exciting June!

FROM THE PRESIDENT
Dear Loyal Moose Brothers and Sisters, I am proud to share that our lodge has received the 5 -Star Award for the 2024-2025 year! This achievement reflects the incredible work and dedication of our members, and I want to take a moment to recognize the progress we’ve made together. From the beautiful parking lot to the concrete work around the lodge (what a difference!) and the inviting front lobby, none of these improvements would have been possible without the generosity and hard work of our lodge. I extend my heartfelt gratitude of the Women of the Moose ( WOTM), Moose Legion, Veterans and all our lodge members. Your donations and participation in fundraisers have truly made a difference. I have always been proud to be a member of the Buena Park Lodge, and this year is no exception. At our recent conference in Costa Mesa, I was disheartened to hear that some chapters feel unsupported by their lodges. This made me realize just how fortunate we are to have a lodge that stands united, Together, we make a real impact. Let’s remember the incredible causes we support • The Chapter works to supports Mooseheart & Moosehaven • The Moose Legion supports Youth awareness & Camp Ross • Thank you for your unwavering support of the Board of Officers and making our lodge a welcoming and thriving lodge. “Embrace Our Community” MOOSE 2024–2025 Keep signing up new members and don’t forget to join us for our meetings on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Fraternally, Linda Ethier
